Five colors of our brand new 90% mink 10% cashmere, fingering wt. will launch February 25, 2012. Here is the description of one of the five new colors. Wild Aster is a complex shade of dark purple with hints of deep orchid, bright red violet, and fuchsia red. Expect 6 - 7 stitches per inch with size 3 - 4 needles (3.25 - 3.5 mm). Our 90% mink 10% cashmere fingering wt. yarns are loosely spun to maximize the bloom and lovely soft halo. It is exceptionally soft. You can wash this yarn to maximize the halo but you'll find it blooms quite impressively even before it's washed. This yarn stitches evenly even when doubled.  This yarn is woolen spun. Woolen spun yarn tends to be fuller; the fibers trap more air producing warmer knit items.  The fibers are dyed before carding and spinning yielding richer colors with greater color saturation. There is no variation between dye lots.
